Invisalign - your smile straightened discreetly
Your BEST smile, without the bother of braces
Crooked teeth and gaps can seriously dent your smile confidence. Maybe you’ve mastered the art of the closed-mouth smile. Or you simply ‘untag’ yourself from friends’ photos.

With Invisalign, AKA ‘clear braces’, you can perfect your smile without disrupting your daily life. Because they’re virtually invisible and removable, you don’t have to worry about turning up to work or social events wearing a not-so-flattering set of metal braces.

Got a question about Invisalign?
How much does Invisalign cost?
At Dentistry at the Cross our Invisalign price starts at $6000. The cost will vary depending on your tailored treatment plan. We’ll always be upfront about costs and treatment time frame, because transparency is our thing/jam/whatever you wish to call it!
How does Invisalign work?
Like traditional braces, Invisalign aligners place a gentle amount of pressure on the teeth. This helps the teeth gradually shift into their new position. Instead of using metal wires and brackets, Invisalign uses flexible plastic. Digital scanning technology customises the aligner trays to meet your desired needs. To achieve the desired results, you’ll need to wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 20-22 hours a day. Typically, you’ll switch to your new set of aligner trays every 1-2 weeks until the teeth straightening process is complete.
How long does Invisalign take to work?
This varies from patient to patient. For some it will take as little as 4 months, and others 18 months, but 12 months is your typical timeframe. Invisalign treatment time frame depends on your specific needs. (For example, whether you have an underbite, overbite, gap, overcrowded teeth, etc).
Invisalign vs braces - how do I choose?
Don’t worry, we will recommend the teeth straightening approach that will get you the best results. While both Invisalign and braces are effective, clear aligners do have a few extra perks. As the name suggests, Invisalign is virtually invisible. Plus, you have the flexibility to remove your aligners when eating, going to special occasions, and when it’s time to brush and floss your teeth. However, the success of your Invisalign treatment largely depends on your compliance with wearing the aligners and attending your ongoing dentist appointments.
Does Invisalign hurt?
You may experience some discomfort with each new set of aligners fitted, as we progress towards moving your teeth into their final position. This potential discomfort won’t last long and can be relieved by over-the-counter medication.
